Filip Urumović (21) is missing for more than two months, more precisely since November 20th, in Klenak near Ruma. Despite an intensive search involving a large number of people, there is still no information about Filip, and the search for him continues.
The young man’s grandfather, Branko J., told the media that the security cameras near the old railway bridge, where Filip’s car was found, revealed that he had walked down from the bridge, but it is unknown where he went.
There are still no clues as to what happened on that fateful day over two months ago and where the young man is. Filip’s car was found unlocked, and his phone has been unreachable the whole time.
Friends of the missing young man earlier described what happened on November 20th last year.
„He drove to the old bridge at 8 am. He only took the keys and his mobile phone. He left his wallet. Only the unlocked car was found near the bridge. He hasn’t been in touch since,“ one of Filip’s friends said.
There are still no leads even after more than two months, even though the search for Filip continues tirelessly. No one knows what happened on that fateful day.
Branko J. says that Filip would never go somewhere without getting in touch.
„He worked in a factory and was a hardworking young man, but he quit just before disappearing. He was supposed to return his uniform that day, but it remained at home, and he disappeared. He didn’t have any problems, as far as we know. His friends don’t know either. We hope he will return,“ Filip’s saddened grandfather said.
He says that the security cameras did not capture Filip’s leap into the water.
„At the time when he disappeared, no one is seen jumping or entering the water. There is video footage from a nearby building, and everything is clearly visible. We hope he went somewhere and will return. He talked about wanting to go to Malta to work, but he changed his mind, so we hope he may have gone,“ Branko J. said.
Everything, as Filip’s grandfather says, was fine on the day he disappeared.
„He didn’t have any problems, as far as we know, but to be honest, he never told us when he had a problem. In the last few days before disappearing, he behaved completely normally. The search has been suspended, and friends occasionally go back to the bridge to look for him, as well as the fishermen. Once again, I appeal to everyone to contact us if they have any information about our Filip,“ grandfather Branko adds.
Urumović is about 175 centimeters tall, with brown eyes and brown hair.
