Sandra Božić, member of the Serbian Progressive Party, stated that yesterday’s session of the Serbian Parliament went smoothly, with the ruling coalition proudly presenting their candidate for the Speaker of the Parliament, Ana Brnabić.
During a press conference in the Parliament building, Božić criticized the opposition, claiming they did not contribute anything useful to the discussion. She specifically mentioned Zdravko Ponoš, the leader of the Serbia Center party, accusing him of being a NATO general who had the support of Americans in advancing his career and attempting to undermine the Serbian Army.
Božić also pointed out that the opposition failed to acknowledge the anniversary of the ethnic cleansing of Serbs in Kosovo and Metohija. She criticized Ponoš for dismissing the issues on the region, including the display of terrorism and banning the use of dinars for Serbian people, suggesting instead that payments should be made in euros.
